We are looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead high-density residential and commercial developments from pre-construction through to occupancy. You will be the linchpin of our project team, responsible for keeping multi-million dollar builds on track, under budget, and compliant with Montreal’s rigorous municipal standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables. Lead the selection of architects, engineers, and general contractors.

  • Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, track variances, and approve progress claims. You are the lead of the project’s Pro Forma.

  • Permit & Regulatory Navigation

  • Risk Management: Proactively identify site-specific risks and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between owners, municipal authorities, and site teams.


Requested skills

Requirements:
  • Experience: 5-10 years in construction project management, specifically within the Montreal development sector (High-rise or Mixed-use experience preferred).

  • Credentials: University degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management. A PMP or Gold Seal certification is a strong asset.

  • Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the RBQ (Régie du bâtiment du Québec), CCQ labor regulations, and Montreal’s zoning bylaws.

  • Leadership: A "firm but fair" approach to managing contractors and a knack for solving problems before they hit the bottom line.

  • Bilingualism: Absolute fluency in French and English is required for navigating both site-level discussions and corporate reporting.
