Human Resources Business PartnerPosition Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor to leaders and employees across the organization.
The incumbent supports business objectives by providing both strategic and operational human resources expertise. The HRBP partners with leaders on employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, change management, and workplace health and safety matters.
Through a collaborative and solutions-focused approach, the HRBP contributes to strengthening leadership practices, employee engagement, organizational culture, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on all human resources matters;
- Provide coaching and guidance related to employee relations, leadership development, performance management, employee engagement, workforce planning, and workplace health and safety;
- Support a broad range of HR activities, including talent acquisition, onboarding, organizational development, training, succession planning, change management, employee engagement, and workplace investigations;
- Partner with leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business needs and operational priorities;
- Advise on the interpretation and application of HR policies, procedures, and employment-related legislation;
- Support the management of disciplinary matters, attendance management, workplace accommodations, disability management, and return-to-work programs;
- Participate in incident investigations and support corrective and preventive action initiatives;
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and promote best practices in people management;
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to HR programs, processes, and systems;
- Facilitate organizational change initiatives and support leaders through periods of transformation;
- Promote a respectful, inclusive, healthy, and safe work environment;
- Participate in strategic HR projects and organizational initiatives as required.
QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field;
- CHRP designation considered an asset.
Experience
- Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or advisory capacity;
- Experience supporting leaders within a manufacturing or industrial environment is considered an asset.
