The candidate must be located within British Columbia as site visit are required.The project management resources must have significant and demonstrated experience in managing medium to large multiple projects in the education or public sector managing projects such as Banner ERP, CRM, various campus student registration systems, IT infrastructure, and or various business centric initiativesResponsibilities: The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including initiation, planning, execution, quality assurance, and closure. This role requires excellent communication, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Manage the full project life cycle for the Flexible Registration, CRM, Intranet Portal/Digital Workspace/SharePoint, continuation of Banner SSB8 to 9 and other similarly prioritized projects. Manage any other projects as assigned by Manager, Project Management Office deemed necessary to meet clients Strategic objectives and operational needs.Support the operational mandates of the project management office. The project manager requires strong project as well as business analysis expertise that can: Manage assigned project through the full project management life cycle (initiation & planning, execution, monitoring & control, quality assurance & change management, and closing).Deliver any required project artefacts as required and needed both using either agile or traditional methods and as required by client’s PMO mission, vision, and values.Update stakeholders, build relationships, and maintain professionalism and adhere to the mission, vision, and values of the client.Maintain vendor relationships on behalf of client for assigned projects and operations.Define/follow scope and deal with change management and transition to operations.Document recommendations, decisions, executive updates, reports, and presentation to senior leaderships and executive.Support the operations of Project Management Office and its systems, processes, and mandate as assigned by the Manager of Project Management Office.
