THE POSITION
The teacher of the Social Participation Program (SPP) will support students with special needs in developing their functional, social, and life skills, thereby fostering greater autonomy and improved integration into the community. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and facilitate adapted learning activities focused on communication, socialization, autonomy, and life skills;
- Develop differentiated educational programs and deliver instruction that responds to each student’s individual needs;
- Create a respectful, inclusive, safe, and engaging classroom environment;
- Monitor student progress and adjust pedagogical approaches as needed;
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, community partners, and school staff to provide comprehensive support to students;
- Encourage participation in community-based learning experiences;
- Contribute to school life and extracurricular activities, ensure the safety and well-being of students, and take part in meetings and the ongoing development of the program.
