Description
Les Jardins Logidor, a private seniors' residence located in Ste-Foy, is seeking 4 people to fill part-time Stair-Trac Transportation Attendant positions from September 1, 2025, to the end of December 2025. The person in this position is responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of residents up and down the stairs using the Stair-Trac motorized device, in accordance with safety standards and residence policies. Good physical condition is required, as there are 5 floors to climb and descend several times during the shifts. The necessary training will be provided on-site.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule A: 2 x shifts Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Schedule B: 2 x shifts Saturday and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Salary: To be discussed
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check the operating condition of the device before each use (battery, brakes, belts, etc.).
- Communicate with the team to coordinate travel.
- Ensure safe transportation of residents up and down stairs using the Stair-Trac.
- Ensure the resident is properly installed, secured and safe.
- Follow ergonomic and injury prevention guidelines.
- Help distribute meals on the floors
- Participate in the training required for the safe use of the device.
- Report any incident, anomaly or breakdown of the device immediately.
