The Résidence du Verger is a warm and pleasant residence that is fortunate to welcome just over 180 independent and slightly dependent residents.
We are currently looking for a talented Nursing Assistant who is committed to the health of our residents.

The nursing assistant team administers medications and ensures that resident files are updated in the computer system. They respond to emergencies and work closely with the Health Services Manager and other departments (kitchen, dining room, maintenance, reception, etc.). Permanent, full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, evenings from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. and every other weekend.

• Assist the head of the care service as needed

• Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
• Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
• Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
• Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
• Respond to all emergency situations

• A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
• PDSB training
• Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
