POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Domaine des Forges is a warm and pleasant residence that is fortunate to welcome just over 260 independent residents. Located in a prime area, in the heart of old Ste-Rose, Laval.
We are currently seeking a talented Licensed Practical Nurse who cares about the health of our residents.
The team of licensed practical nurses keeps resident files up to date, responds to emergencies, and ensures the well-being of our residents.
Permanent part-time position, between 4 and 8 hours per day, every other weekend only, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. or from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All other related tasks
- Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
- Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
- A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
- PDSB training
- Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
