The private seniors' residence Nobélia, located in Lévis, is seeking a part-time night attendant (Loi 90) position. ***Candidates must have a vocational diploma (DVS) in beneficiary attendance or a RAC certificate, or 5,000 hours of experience in the last 5 years as a PAB (Personal Assistance Program) + up-to-date 16-hour RCR (Responsive Care) + completed PDSB (Personal Assistance Program).***
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: One 4/14 night shift
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
- Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
- Answering call bells
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
- Proactively assist and support the residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
