The Jazz Drummondville residence offers a warm, comfortable, and safe living environment. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our next position.
This is a full-time, permanent position, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with weekend work as needed.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All other related tasks
- Assist residents with any deficiencies related to services provided by the residence
- Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
- Keep the work environment clean
- Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
- Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
- Perform minor repairs in apartments and common areas
- Schedule and ensure that preventive maintenance is performed on equipment
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
