POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Les jardins du couvent, a welcoming private seniors' residence, is looking for a Maintenance Manager who will be responsible for managing requisitions. The Maintenance Manager will perform various tasks related to building maintenance and the management of maintenance and renovation projects, as well as team management, as well as the administrative and financial management of the department.
Permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and weekends as needed.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be on the floor to supervise and carry out necessary repairs with your team

- Gérer et coordonner un homme de maintenance
- Gérer les relations avec des sous-contractants
- Planifier, organiser, contrôler la réalisation des travaux de maintenance en sous-traitance ainsi qu’avec les employés de l’entreprise
- Préparer les soumissions préliminaires des projets d’entretien et de réparation et analyser les propositions des entreprises afin de faire le meilleur choix (coûts, délais, qualité)
- Réceptionner les travaux et vérifier le service effectué en sous-traitance
- Travailler en coordination avec le département technique pour des travaux à effectués de contrat de maintenance
- Vérifier et faire suivre les factures à qui de droit
- Élaborer et rédiger les prescriptions techniques pour des réalisations courantes et à venir
- High school diploma (SSD)
- A DEP in general builing maintenance (as asset)
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience
- Expérience comme entrepreneur général et/ou en construction et/ou gestion de projets en construction (atout majeur)
