POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The retirement residence Le Jardin d'Italie offers, on the one hand, private apartments for young retirees who above all need independence, with all the security of a residence and access to several services .
We are looking for a maintenance manager, full time, daytime from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Available occasionally on weekends.
*Speaking Italian will be considered an asset.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be available to respond to emergencies
- Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
- Maintain and clean the premises
- Maintenance and monitoring of equipment (mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, pumps, furnaces, valves, etc.)
- Manage apartment renovations in accordance with the program established by general management/the general manager
- Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
- Perform minor repairs in apartments and common areas
- A DEP in general builing maintenance (as asset)
- Experience in personnel management
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs
- Ease in the use of computer tools
- CPR training
- Speaking Italian (asset)
