POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Located in Brossard, near the Dix30 complex, the L'Émérite de Brossard residence is delighted to welcome a select clientele, whether independent or experiencing a loss of autonomy. It offers a warm and friendly atmosphere where we feel at home.
Permanent, full-time position, 32 hours per week, daytime from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and every other weekend.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All other related tasks
- Assist residents with any deficiencies related to services provided by the residence
- Be available to respond to emergencies
- Change light bulbs in the common areas
- Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
- Make service calls
- Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
- Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset.
- Minimum of one year's experience in a similar position.
