POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (occasional evening and weekend replacements) Salary: $23.50/hour
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze the work to be done, determine the necessary materials to order and notify your manager of the needs
- Carry out any other tasks related to his/her duties
- Carry out preventive maintenance on the residence's equipment
- Carry out various renovations and minor repairs in residents' apartments and common areas of the residence (painting, carpentry)
- Clear corridors and access doors of items that could be cumbersome and/or affect the safety of residents
- Ensure that apartments are clean and in excellent condition before future rentals
- Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the premises
- Organize your tasks to meet deadlines
- Respect health and safety rules at work
- Respond to emergencies and calls for service
- Good communication
- Occupational health and safety training (an asset)
- Experience in minor manual work (painting, electrical, carpentry and plumbing)
