POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Located in the heart of downtown St-Bruno, Jazz St-Bruno is fortunate to welcome a select clientele, whether independent or experiencing a loss of autonomy. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Attendant. Working with the Maintenance Director, this person will oversee building maintenance and resident requests. Are you hands-on, versatile, passionate about various building systems, and enjoy helping others? This position is definitely for you. Temporary, full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, daytime, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and every other weekend.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist residents with any deficiencies related to services provided by the residence
- Be available to respond to emergencies
- Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
- Make service calls
- Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
- Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
- Perform minor repairs in apartments and common areas
- Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)
- Knowledge of minor apartment repair
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of senior residences, a major asset
