POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking talented and caring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
Temporary position (sick leave cover), full-time, between 16 and 32 hours per week, evenings from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Sunday to Saturday and one weekend out of two.
Evening shift premium applies.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
- Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
- Collect degree in nursing (DEC) or a proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
- Ease in the use of computer tools
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- Know Symo software (an advantage)
- At lease 3 to 5 years of experience in nursing
- Member of the OIIAQ
