POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Les Jardins Renoir, a friendly private seniors' residence, is looking for someone to fill a part-time weekend position as a Personal Support Worker (PSW). 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ***Candidates must have a PSW/RPA diploma or a DEP in Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home, or a RAC (Recognition of Acquired Competencies) certificate, or 5,000 hours of PSW training accumulated within the last 5 years.** We offer group insurance, telemedicine, an employee assistance program, and more! :::
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
- Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
- A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
- PDSB training
- Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
