POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are currently looking for a kitchen assistant who is concerned about the health of residents to be part of our dynamic team! Permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week, daytime from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and every other weekend.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble plates of food
- Be required to participate in the serving of meals and/or light housework when required
- Clean kitchen equipment
- Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Peel and cut vegetables for meals
- Perform other related duties
- Good team player
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- Experience in a large restoration's volume (an asset)
