POSITION DESCRIPTION:

In compliance with health and safety regulations, the Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness and disinfection of residents' apartments, as well as various tasks related to their duties in the residence's common areas.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • At all times, respect safety rules, and intervene or inform your manager if anything appears to contravene WHMIS standards.
  • Clean the residents' bathrooms and toilets
  • Clear the corridors and access doors of any items that could be cumbersome and compromise the safety of residents.
  • Perform all other tasks related to his/her duties and at the request of his/her immediate superior
  • Take inventory of the products and promptly notify the maintenance manager of any items to be ordered.
Construction
  • Sweep and clean the floors of the corridors, common areas and workstations of the building
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma (SSD)
  • WHMIS training (an asset, provided on site if necessary)
  • Minimum of one year of experience in similar roles
  • Knowledge of commonly used household products and their use
