POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Résidence Le Clair Matin, by Cogir Real Estate, is looking for a colleague to join its dedicated team as a dining room server.
This is a permanent part-time position, between 12 and 15 hours per week, day and evening shifts from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and weekends as needed.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
- Contribute to the teams efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dinning room(s)
- Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable
- In cooperation with the kitchen staff, prepare daily and à la carte menus and answer residents' questions regarding meals and preparation
- Perform other related duties
- Take orders, noting specific requests and following-up with the kitchen staff
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- Knowledge of senior living residences is an asset
- knowledge of a Maitre D's responsibilities (an asset)
