POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Prepare and serve healthy, appetizing meals adapted to the nutritional needs of residents, while ensuring quality service, respecting hygiene standards, and contributing to the daily well-being of seniors.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Plan and cook meals in accordance with the appropriate methods and standards
- Prepare the lunches and suppers for the Health Care department
- Use products and equipment according to the safety, quality, hygiene and cleanliness rules and standards in effect
- Use work methods consistent with the health and safety rules and cleanliness standards in effect
- When appropriate, collaborate with the chef in the creation of the menus by proposing ideas
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
