POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Jazz Lebourgneuf is a warm and welcoming residence that is pleased to host over 225 independent and semi-independent residents. Located in a prime area, in the heart of the Lebourgneuf district.
We are currently seeking a creative and passionate part-time Cook who wants to provide an exceptional culinary experience for our residents.
Schedule: Monday and Thursday from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and every weekend from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Salary: $21.48/hour to $22.75/hour depending on experience
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble plates of food
- Ensure and optimize quality standards in the use of food
- Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Peel and cut vegetables for meals
- Perform other related duties
- Supervise the preparation of cold meals and desserts
- When appropriate, collaborate with the chef in the creation of the menus by proposing ideas
- Good team player
- A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in institutional cuisine or equivelent
