Jazz Lévis is currently seeking a part-time night beneficiary attendant position for a long-term temporary replacement. ***Candidates must have an AP/RPA or DEP (Degree of Professional Qualifications) in Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home, or a RAC certificate, or 5,000 hours of experience in the last 5 years as a PAB (Personal Assistance Provider) + up-to-date 16-hour CPR + completed PDSP.*** We offer group insurance, telemedicine, an employee assistance program, and more.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule: 4/14 night shift (12 a.m. to 8 a.m.) with every other weekend.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations
- Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
- Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training
- Law 90 training (an asset)
- AP/RPA or DEP training in personal assistance in establishments and at home
