POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Manoir Fontainebleau residence is located in Blainville on the edge of Boulevard des Châteaux. It is the gateway to the prestigious Fontainebleau residential district. We are currently seeking empathetic Resident Attendants who are committed to the well-being of residents. Permanent part-time position, daytime (7 a.m. to 3 p.m.), evening (3 p.m. to 11 p.m.), or night (11 p.m. to 7 a.m.), between 16 and 24 hours per week. The incumbent must be available for two shifts and every other weekend. The candidate must hold a diploma recognized by a government authority, 16-hour CPR and the PDSB of ASSTSAS.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All other related tasks
- Perform some household and dining room service tasks.
- Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
- Proactively assist and support the residents
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
- 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
- Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
- PAB diploma issued by a government body
- Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
