POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Jazz Drummondville is a recently built 405-apartment residence located in a sought-after Drummondville neighborhood, offering a high-quality, safe, and deeply caring living environment to its residents and employees. We are currently looking for a Beneficiary Attendant trained under Bill 90, empathetic, and concerned about the well-being of residents.
The Resident Attendant ensures the comfort, well-being, safety, and general needs of residents by providing them with hygiene and comfort care.

Permanent, full-time position, 7/15 shifts, between 24 and 32 hours per week, evenings or nights and every other weekend.

SIGN-ON BONUS of $500 ($250 after 3 months and $250 after 6 months)


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
  • Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
  • Assist the nursing staff in tasks that require no hands-on care of the resident
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
  • In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
  • Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
  • Respond to all emergency situations
  • Transporting residents to programs, dining room and appointments within the Residence
  • While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
  • Law 90 training
  • PDSB training
  • Up to date CPR / AED training certificates
  • PAB diploma completed
