POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Under the authority of the residence's general manager, the executive assistant collaborates in defining and managing the residence's various activities. He/she assists the director in creating a living environment that promotes the development of residents and the mobilization of employees.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Any other tasks requested by his superior
  • Assist the immediate superior and other team members in daily and administrative tasks
  • Conduct research, collect and compile data, complete certain reports and send relevant documentation to the persons concerned
  • Contribute to the supervision, hiring and evaluation of staff in order to have qualified and competent staff at all times
  • Ensure the efficiency of operational processes and the quality of services to residents
  • Ensure the influence and visibility of the residence in the community
  • Support the General Manager in his duties
  • Take the appropriate measures with regard to emergency situations likely to arise in the establishment
  • Write various letters or documents and all other tasks of a clerical nature
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • College diploma (DEC) in administrative technology or any relevant training, including in the field of human resources
  • Experience in managing activities related to the elderly (an asset)
  • A working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook software
  • A working knowledge of the software system Hopem (an asset)
