POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Accounts Payable Technician plays a key role in the company's financial health by ensuring rigorous and efficient management of payments to suppliers. Through their work, they ensure the accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of invoices and related documents. Working closely with other departments, they ensure that financial commitments are fulfilled smoothly and professionally, while maintaining positive relationships with business partners.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Be responsible for managing accounts payable
  • Make adjustments as needed
  • Perform calculation, preparation and processing of invoices, accounts payable, and related documents
  • Prepare accounts payable payments after obtaining approvals
  • Work closely with other departments within the company
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • DEP or DEC or AEC in accounting
  • 1-3 years of job-related experience
  • French/English bilingualism (an asset), with French being the main working language
  • Knowledge of Word and Excel software
  • Knowledge of Hopem software (an asset)
