Working under the guidance of the Senior Lead, Learning, this position will support the City’s enterprise wide Learning Management System (LMS) SuccessFactors (insight Learning). This position is responsible for designing, assessing and configuring job required learning curriculum and leading and/or participating in a variety of L&D projects related to learning. The Learning Architect position will support the centralized enterprise-wide LMS and ensure alignment between learning domains, leveraging expertise (i.e. divisional leaders, SME’s, COE’s and other stakeholders) in the organization to support configuration decisions.
• Lead and support projects implementing new job required learning in the LMS and enhancing operational system learning designs
• Assess and build job required implementation plans at an enterprise wide level and/or for specific learning domains;
• Assess current learning business processes of clients, offer business solutions and build appropriate configuration solutions with the goal of maximizing learner experience and increasing knowledge retention and provide flexible sustainable learning;
• Ensure learning solutions directly align business needs with learning best practices;
• Map the learning business requirements to SuccessFactors LMS module;
• Develop learning metrics, analytics and reporting;
• Support SME’s in translating their business operations into modules of learning and build the design into the LMS;
• Build/Design/Implement competency based job required learning requirements for identified multi-incumbent positions within various learning domains;
• Complete day to day configuration of items, programs, curriculums and assignment profiles for any learning domain(s);
• Conduct testing and systems audits in order to maintain LMS data integrity;
• Conduct regular system audits and support business area training teams with auditing operational system utilization
• 2 years of learning design experience, learning management system design and related system administration
• Post secondary Diploma/Degree or combination of related education and experience
• Expert in business process review and mapping
• Demonstrated project management and change management experience
• Familiar with Learning Design methodology
• Experience working in Success Factors System Administration
Hourly Rate/Salary: $49.16 - $65.54 (based on salary $89,464 - $119,286)
