Position Description:

CGI is expanding its Health and Life Sciences Team in the Atlantic Region. We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant of Health Data, Analytics and AI with experience leading and managing medium to large-sized technology consulting and delivery projects a complex healthcare setting. Experience working with Nova Scotia Health and/or other Atlantic Provincial Health Authorities is required. Experience working with Departments of Health is also desired. The successful candidate will have a strong delivery background in the Healthcare Sector and ideally some experience working as or alongside clinical teams. We appreciate applications from clinically trained and experienced individuals. Candidates must have a background in healthcare consulting OR the healthcare industry (payers or providers) with a focus on Data Engineering and AI inside of a healthcare setting and an advanced degree in Health Informatics, Health Administration, Business Administration, Computer Sciences, Data Sciences, Health Sciences or equivalent. The ideal candidate will also have experience in IT Consulting sales/business development and have an extensive network in the sector that they can leverage to support practice building.

In the role of Senior Consultant, Health Data, Analytics and AI you would be responsible for the successful delivery of project on time, on budget, and to customer satisfaction, therefore enabling new or extended business relationships. Your focus and priority is on client satisfaction, which you achieve through strategic, well organized and communicative project management as well as through strong team leadership and support to the CGI members (employees) on your delivery team(s). You will ensure resourcing is achieved and performance reviews are completed for people assigned to your projects as well as providing recognition and regular coaching to team members.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

•Managing the day-to-day relationship with the client and key project executives and stakeholders
• Develop project and solution design concepts and approaches
• Development of project proposals, project charters, and project management plans
• Managing the time and effort of the project team
• Ensuring proper change, scope, risk, and expectation management are applied
• Reporting accurate project financial and profitability figures
• Holding regular status meeting with team and clients and providing regular status reporting
• Playing a lead role in the development of business requirements documentation
• Prepare and present senior client executives
• Ensure appropriate project management processes and tools are used to effectively manage the project with the client
• Perform project status updates with clients and internal CGI teams
• Work with the Director of Consulting Services for Health and Life Sciences to identify new opportunities to serve the client

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Experience working with Nova Scotia Health and/or other Atlantic Canada Health Authorities
• 5 years of experience in Health IT Consulting with a focus on data, analytics and AI
• 5 years of experience in a data, analytics and AI practitioner or consulting role
• Significant experience working on IT and application projects in a healthcare or hospital setting, requiring strong clinical data, privacy and automation understanding
• Experience with clinical information systems, such as EHR/EMRs like Cerner and Epic
• Experience with Data, Analytics and AI technologies, visualization software
• An understanding of the health interoperability and data privacy and protection landscape
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed written, verbal and presentation skills • Must be goal oriented, results-driven and client focused

• Must have undergraduate degree such as Health Informatics, Nursing, Medicine, Health Administration, Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent • Masters degree in Health Administration, Informatics, MBA or Computer Science preferred
