Duties and responsibilities
As an Azure Technology Architect, you will :
- Oversee technical discussions with customers to assess their organization's readiness to adopt Azure cloud solutions and then guide the adoption, migration or transformation of cloud solutions;
- Make recommendations to customers concerning Azure IaaS cloud architecture and deployment in public, private and hybrid cloud environments;
- Create and implement solutions and select appropriate technologies, platforms and applications;
- Present Azure cloud architecture solutions to customer's senior management;
- Mentor and assist other CGI team members in their professional development.

Qualities required to succeed in this role
- University degree, college diploma in computer science, or equivalent;
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in large-scale IT environments, including 2 years in Azure cloud architecture;
- Advanced knowledge of Azure IaaS services;
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Terraform or Ansible;
- Demonstrate analytical and document writing skills;
- Possess an excellent command of the French language, both spoken and written.

Assets :
- Relevant Microsoft certification;
- Experience in migrating workloads to Azure;
- Functional knowledge of English.
- Study technological and business needs, identify possible solutions, evaluate costs/benefits and recommend appropriate Microsoft 365 solutions;
- Participate in experimental studies including test beds and proofs of concept;
- Write technical specifications for the configuration of Microsoft 365 solutions and integration with office infrastructure solutions;
- Support implementation teams in the implementation of Microsoft 365 solutions and in investigating and resolving problems;
- Support and resolve complex technical issues by providing appropriate and detailed explanations.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interactions with domestic and global clients.
