AWS Cloud Solution Architect (Payments/Interac)

Position Description
We are Canada's largest independent information technology services firm, and after 40 years, we're still growing! Join Canada's largest IT Company as a Solution Data Architect, in our Insurance Services Division.

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our client's office (Toronto downtown) at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.

Qualifications:
· University degree or equivalent years of experience (Banking Payments/Interac experience - preferred)
· Five years of experience implementing foundational cloud services (networking, security, account/organizations, logging & monitoring, identity access management, etc.)
· Certification as an GCP, AWS, Azure Solutions Architect, Cloud Security Certification, and/or Cloud Engineer Certification a plus. (Other cloud-related certifications are also a plus.)
· Five years of experience in developing software using languages such as Java, Python, C++, Go, or Ruby
· Experience in large-scale migration of application workloads from on-prem or collocated data centers to a cloud platform
· Experience working with GCP, AWS, Azure and private cloud compute, storage, micro-service applications, platform serverless frameworks, API gateway, CI/CD and cloud-based services
· Experience implementing cloud controls, security, monitoring technologies, as well as hands on experience instrumenting alerts based on aggregated logs and analytics output and audit services
· Experience with cloud Experience implementing infrastructure as code using cloud formation and/or Terraform
· Experience managing Docker/Kubernetes workloads
· Experience developing DevOps, Site Reliability and Solutions Architecture methodologies and practices
