The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Senior Quality Consultant, Quality and Patient Safety. Reporting to the Director, Quality, Experience and Patient Safety and working collaboratively with the Medical Director, the Senior Clinical Manager will act as an internal consultant and hands-on change agent, leading and supporting complex quality improvement, patient safety, and operational excellence initiatives.

The Senior Quality Consultant will work alongside the Senior Vice-President, Clinical Care and the dyad leaders (Director and Medical Director) for Quality, Experience and Patient Safety to apply Lean and improvement science methodologies to translate data, patient and family feedback, and incident learning into sustainable improvements across CAMH.

The Senior Quality Consultant will lead medium to large-scale quality improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and improvement science methodologies. They will apply value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and PDSA cycles to improve care processes and outcomes. The role will ensure improvements are measurable, sustainable, and aligned with CAMH strategic priorities. They will coach clinical and operational leaders and frontline teams in quality improvement methods, support delivery of education through CAMH’s Quality Training Academy and improvement programs and build internal capability to support sustained improvement beyond individual projects.

The Senior Quality Consultant will partner with Data & Insights to define meaningful measures and analyze performance data, develop dashboards, reports, and visual management tools to track progress and outcomes. They will act as an internal consultant to clinical programs and corporate partners, facilitate cross-functional collaboration and influence change, preparing briefing materials and presentations for leadership and governance committees, as required.
