Description
The Intrepid Lab (formerly Nicotine Dependence Service) at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a full-time, contract (12 months) Research Coordinator (Statistician) with a strong statistical and clinical/epidemiological data analysis background to support a large-scale program focused on nicotine and tobacco dependence treatment, chronic disease prevention and associated health behaviour outcomes.
The Research Coordinator will join and support the interprofessional team at the INTREPID Lab that has collected a large amount of data from prior studies, with many active studies and projects in varying stages of development and implementation. Reporting to the Manager, and working closely with a team of Research Coordinators, Scientists and Directors, the Research Coordinator will provide expertise in the design and analysis of research studies and data projects and perform a variety of data processing, management and analytic functions.
Working with a custom software solution designed for the provincial STOP Program’s large-scale implementation is an integral part of this position. The ability to work with data-driven clinical workflows, embedded analytics, generating and extracting reports from the application will be a key element of this position. Tracking project workplans, coordinating team meetings, completing project progress reports and other administrative and non-administrative duties may be involved, as required.
