The Geriatric Mental Health Services (GMHS) team at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is at the forefront of advancing mental health care for older adults. We specialize in inter-professional assessment, treatment, consultation, and follow-up services tailored to the unique needs of this population. GMHS is driven by a robust research program focused on understanding the variability in treatment responses among older adults. By exploring innovative approaches with medications and non-pharmacological treatments, we aim to enhance therapeutic outcomes and minimize adverse effects in late-life mental health care.
We are seeking two (2) enthusiastic and skilled Research Analysts to join our team for a full-time, contract (1 year). In this dynamic role, you will play a key part in advancing cutting-edge research that makes a tangible difference in the lives of older adults living with cognitive and mental illness. You will be contributing to a body of work that does not just advance scientific knowledge but also shapes the care that people receive during some of the most vulnerable stages of their lives. This in-person role will be primarily located at the McCain Complex & Recovery Building (MCCR) at the Queen Street Site, and requires adherence to CAMH's privacy, safety, and operational policies.
The successful candidate will possess an Honours Bachelor Degree in psychology, or a health-related or social science discipline, combined with one (1) year of relevant experience.
