The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Director, Clinical Informatics and Health Information Services to lead and oversee multiple departments supporting clinical informatics, digital health and privacy functions across the organization. Reporting to the Chief Clinical Information Officer, the Director plays a critical leadership role in advancing digital health at CAMH by ensuring effective, secure, and innovative use of clinical information systems to support patient care, research and education. This role will provide strategic and operational leadership to the following teams: the Clinical Informatics Nurse Team, the Information and Privacy Office, and Health Information Services (including Health Records, Central Registration, and Locating). The Director will ensure alignment with CAMH’s Strategic Plan. This is a leadership role that requires collaborative engagement with internal and external stakeholders, the ability to navigate complex health systems, and a strong vision for the integration of technology into clinical practice.

The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant progressive experience in healthcare settings-ideally in mental health and addictions care-including at least 3-5 years of leadership experience. Previous roles must demonstrate supervisory experience in clinical informatics and/or privacy, and a track record of thought leadership in digital health. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., healthcare management, health informatics, health administration). A clinical background is preferred (e.g., Registered Nurse, Social Work), and privacy training or education (e.g., certificate or coursework) is required.
