The INTREPID Lab at CAMH is seeking a full-time, contract (12 month) CH&E Specialist with experience in knowledge translation to support the design, development and implementation of high quality professional training programs, including online courses, web-based resources and other learning materials tailored to diverse audiences. INTREPID is a large team that spans Research, Education, Healthcare system support and Commercialization across Ontario and Canada.

Reporting to the Manager, the candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following activities to support the implementation of training in health behaviour change, including nicotine and tobacco use, other substance use, chronic disease prevention and mental health:

The CH&E Specialist will help to develop accredited course curriculum, training programs, educational and presentation materials, and implement a comprehensive evaluation plan for online learning. The successful candidate will also evaluate training modules on a variety of process and outcome measures to ensure continuous quality improvement, and contribute to the development of the department’s strategic priorities and deliverables and other tasks as assigned. The successful candidate will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork, and complies with all applicable policies, regulatory and legislative requirements. This position is currently located at 1025 Queen Street.

The successful candidate will possess a Master’s Degree in Education, Public Health, Social Science or related field with at least two (2) years of relevant experience in the development and delivery of training and education programming. The candidate will have experience in instructional design, and knowledge of education, learning theories, curriculum design, and evaluation models.
