CAMH Education, Trauma-Informed De-escalation Education for Safety and Self-protection (TIDES) is currently seeking a full-time, temporary (1 year) CH&E Assistant. Reporting to the Manager of TIDES and Community Education, the CH&E Assistant is responsible for supporting TIDES education sessions and data input. The incumbent will:

Other duties include arrange for printing of course packages and handouts, accurately perform data entry for course evaluations, be responsible for room and audio-visual equipment set up, digital filing, mailing and other tasks, as required. You will support a workplace that is welcoming of our participants, embraces diversity and inclusion, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable standards and requirements. This position is located at 1025 Queen Street West Street.

The successful candidate will have one year of community college and 6 months - 1 year experience in an administrative position. Proficiency with computer programs such as Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, outlook; some experience with database programs, excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficient administrative skills in areas such as filing etc. are required. You are capable of working independently and in a team setting, and have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds is also an asset. Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.
