About this opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, Maintenance, the Tool Crib Technician will support the entire Lloydminster Upgrader complex by ensuring that tools are maintained in proper working order. This role is responsible for ordering small hand tools for trades and ensuring that the tool crib is organized and well stocked.

Work Environment:

  • This position is located in Lloydminster and requires the successful candidate to live in the area

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure tools are checked in and out of the tool crib, that they are in good working order and inspected before issuance

  • Issue radios and gas monitors to employees and contractors daily

  • Working with vendors to set up tool repairs, working with procurement to purchase new tooling and ensure they are engraved

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure MMRS's are made for new tooling

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in Canada

  • High school diploma or CAEC

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in trades

  • Experience with Both Blackline monitors, and Motorola radios

  • Proficient in SAP as relates to repairs and purchases

We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.

As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.
