In a general way, the professor's teaching load shall include: preparation of course outline; preparation of classes, labs and fieldwork; teaching of classes, labs and fieldwork; adaptation; support and supervision of students; preparation, invigilation and correction of examinations; revision of corrections at the
students’ request and other activities when required.
DUTIES:
The College is seeking an hourly paid professor to join a dynamic team to teach a High School remedial credited course within Continuing Education for the 2024 Summer School Program. This course will be taught ONSITE.

603-001-RE Remedial Activities for Secondary V English Language Arts (60 hours)
(July 2nd to July 22nd, 2024, Monday to Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.)
This course is directed toward improving fundamental English language skills, both oral and written. It is for those students who need additional practice and review before entering the core English courses. The 603-001-RE course is designed for students who did not finish their high school studies in Quebec. Students will be streamed into the course based on the College’s criteria involving final marks from Secondary V English as well as a placement test. Students must pass the course in order to advance to the core English courses.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
- A Master's Degree in a related field would be considered an asset.
- To have some teaching experience would be considered an asset.
