The Catholic Independent Schools of the Nelson Diocese (CISND), hosts six elementary schools, and one high school. The diocese is located in the beautiful Okanagan and Kootenay regions of British Columbia. French Teacher - Grades 4-7

Effective: August 26, 2024

We have a part-time (up to .50 FTE) opening for a French teaching assignment, effective August 26, 2024. This position teaches Grades 4-7. Please apply if you would like to belong to our school community.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following qualifications:

Commitment to Catholic Education

Identification with and participation in the life of a Catholic parish

Successful teaching experience, primary years education

AIM (Accelerated Integrated Methodology) Training

Additional professional experience or courses in adolescent learning and social emotional needs

Ability to support students with exceptional needs through differentiated instruction

Ability to foster positive relationships with children and families, colleagues and administration

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively

Ability to use discretion when dealing with confidential matters
