Job Description:

Capgemini is supporting its client, a major Aero OEM, in a separation project that includes standardization project for replacing aircraft standard parts with new ones. For this project, we are looking for a Project Management Officer with experience in Aerospace Industry

Key Job responsibilities:

In this role you will

  • Deliver Standardization project as per separation timeline
  • Support preparation of main governance meetings (from senior leadership meetings to weekly working meetings)
  • Provide minutes of meetings and ensure accurate cascading of key information.
  • Maintain the main action tracker of the program, regular follow-up with all collaborators. Provide important metrics on parameters required to achieve project's objectives and ensure data integrity
  • Develop and maintain E2E project schedule, call R&O reviews, risk card update, risks consolidations
  • Review monthly NRC, investigate of variances with functions, and prepare monthly NRC report. Support Finance Forecast Exercise.
  • Prepare monthly project dashboard (acquire data from all collaborators, check data, insure integrity, publish), keep all project trackers up-to-date
  • Control project scope, lead change board meetings and insure the traceability of any changes. Provide support to Engineering department (create and maintain burn-down curves and other progress graphs for different phases of the project)
  • Deliver project with respect to customer requirements (including LBIP+ process)
Basic Qualifications:
  • Graduate in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent
  • Total 5-10 years of Industry experience including experience as Technical Project Manager in Aero industry
  • Diploma/ or equivalent experience in project management, PMI certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience working with multi-functional/cross geographic teams

  • Must have an innovative mindset, be proactive in improving processes and driving projects.
  • ''Can do” spirit, good problem-solving skills & proactive to take first step toward resolutions
  • Ability to quickly adapt to evolving and growing business needs

Job Location: Mirabel, QC, Canada (3 days/week onsite mandatory)
