General Summary

Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Technician will be responsible, among other things, for bookkeeping and bank reconciliation.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Record financial transactions in the financial system;
  • Periodically monitors accounting accounts, analyzes them and makes appropriate corrections;
  • Prepare and follow up on legal recovery files;
  • Participates in year-end audit and financial reporting work;
  • Analyzes, properly codes expenditure and ensures approval;
  • Track problematic invoices;
  • Monitors expenditure reports;
  • Perform bank reconciliation;
  • Participates in the preparation of files and documents for year-end audits;
  • Performs other related duties.

Requested skills

Qualifications
  • DEP in accounting or other related training;
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, knowledge of Dynamics, an asset;
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel intermediate level);
  • Bilingualism (French/English);
  • Manage and complete multiple tasks accurately and by deadline;
  • Autonomous and able to work under pressure;
  • Be able to properly track applications;
  • Pay close attention to detail in all aspects of the work.
