As part of our activities in the cannabis sector, we are looking for an experienced Analytical Laboratory Technician with strong expertise in HPLC and GC-MS.

Reporting to the Quality and Research and Development Department, the incumbent will be responsible for conducting chemical analyses on cannabis-based raw materials, extracts, concentrates and finished products. It will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability and traceability of results, in accordance with internal procedures, good laboratory practices and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Perform routine and specialized analyses using HPLC and GC-MS instruments;
  • Prepare samples, standards, calibration curves, solutions and reagents necessary for analysis;
  • Perform analyses related to cannabinoids, terpenes, residual solvents and other relevant compounds;
  • Ensure the proper functioning of analytical instruments, including basic maintenance, checks, calibrations and first-level troubleshooting;
  • Verify, interpret, compile and document analytical results;
  • Participate in the validation, transfer, optimization and improvement of analytical methods;
  • Comply with standard operating procedures, documentation, traceability and data integrity requirements;
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance, quality control, production and R&D teams;
  • Identify deviations, out-of-specification results or analytical anomalies and contribute to investigations;
  • Maintain a clean, safe and compliant laboratory environment, Internal Standards.

Requested skills

 

  • Degree in chemistry, biochemistry, analytical sciences, laboratory technology, or any other relevant field;
  • Real-world experience with HPLC and GC-MS techniques;
  • Good knowledge of analytical chemistry, sample preparation and quantitation principles;
  • Ability to work rigorously in a regulated environment;
  • Good knowledge of laboratory documentation and traceability requirements;
  • Autonomy, analytical skills, meticulousness and a sense of priorities.
