Gain valuable experience by working in a student engineering position at the Calgary Office for one of our Conventional Exploitation groups. You will have the opportunity to participate in challenging projects that develop your expertise and prepare you for full-time employment.   • Term length: 12 months
  • Term start: September 2025
  • Job location: Calgary, AB - Head Office
  • Shift schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day 
  • Safety sensitive position: Yes

Key Accountabilities:

  • Obtain baseline engineering experience and exposure in a wide variety of tasks while working with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Lead, facilitate and execute projects related to exploitation and production which includes engineering, planning, and economic evaluations as well as project presentations to influence management
  • Review completions, recompletions, well drilling, and historical information for understanding well performance
  • Research, recommend and evaluate completions/workovers to maximize the Company’s oil production
  • Perform optimization research for increased production
  • Participate in inactive/active well file reviews
  • Provide technical support of data analysis and assistance for the preparation of various applications

What You Bring to The Role:

  • Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an engineering degree program
    Chemical, Mechanical, Energy, and Petroleum/Oil & Gas disciplines preferred
  • Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license or equivalent out of province license
  • Motivated, takes initiative, collaborative, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities
