THE ROLEThe Soldier On Outreach Coordinator will coordinate, screen and process applications for third-party events for the Soldier On Fund while ensuring applicant profiles are updated and complete, maintain relationships with external partners, donors, and third-party fundraisers, as well as track the authorized and unauthorized use of the Soldier On trademark for third-party events and the Soldier On Fund and inform manager/supervisor as needed.
The Soldier On Outreach Coordinator will coordinate cheque presentation ceremonies for third-party events and the Soldier On Fund and coordinate and distribute a donor newsletter to ensure effective communication and good relations with donors, partners, sponsors and other supporters.
The Soldier On Outreach coordinator will also coordinate the national Soldier On Outreach events calendar and ensure presence and promotion of the Soldier On Program at community-based events, on CAF bases, corporate events, tradeshows and expositions. The Soldier On Outreach Coordinator will develop and present briefings at tradeshows, expos and other events related to programs, events and sponsorship.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, marketing or a related field AND several years of experience in communications, fundraising, event planning, sponsorship, marketing or a related field

OTHER INFORMATIONThis is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
