THE ROLEUnder the supervision of the Corporate Services Manager, the Social Media Assistant assists in the promotion of Personnel Support Programs (PSP) activities and services and specials events activities for the military community.
They uploads content on platforms including, but not limited to, website, social media, newsletter and local newspapers. They assists in the development and preparation of stories, advertisements, posters, and other materials for publication, edits and uploads texts, images and videos on the department's digital platforms.
They collects and proposes topics for digital and traditional platforms. They participates in media and local events, suggests and prepares visual contents adapted to target audience.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Social Media, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field AND some years of experience in social media or a related field

OTHER INFORMATIONThis is an on-site position with an assigned work location.
This is a temporary position with an anticipated start date of January 6th 2026 and end date of January 5th 2027.
PSP: Keep our Canadian Armed Forces operationally ready and their families and military community healthy as part of the team at Personnel Support Programs. Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.
