Description
As the SISIP Policy and Procedures Manager, you will develop, review, recommend and manage the application of SISIP Financial group insurance policies, procedures and guidelines. You will conduct research, review cases, evaluate insurance policies and procedures and recommend changes or modifications to existing policies, as required, and create and communicate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for SISIP Financial insurance services.
The SISIP Policy and Procedures Manager will maintain knowledge in conjunction with the Subject Matter Experts (SME) and insurance partners, of relevant legislation to ensure that policies are kept updated and relevant to meet Federal and Provincial legislative standards.
This integral role interacts, establishes and creates partnerships with service providers, DND/CAF and other stakeholders to keep apprised of changes, as well as provide information, advice and interpretation on insurance policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONSEducation, Certifications and Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce or a related field AND some years of experience in policy and procedures development, or a related field

College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Commerce or a related field AND several years of experience in policy and procedures development, or a related field

RESPONSIBILITIESConduct research, review, evaluate insurance policies and procedures and recommend changes or modifications to existing policies, as required.

Provide information, advice and interpretation on insurance policies and procedures.
Develop communication, training and briefing materials about insurance policies.
Prepare and conduct presentations for senior management.
Facilitate and deliver briefing sessions for SISIP Financial staff and stakeholders.

Start Date: February 2, 2026
This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
