THE ROLEThe Senior Manager, Military Family Services, leads and manages staff in providing technical advice and guidance to ensure consistent application of MFS program, policies and services.
The Senior Manager will plan, organize and oversee the implementation of the delivery of Services for Military and Veteran Families in Canada. In addition to this, the Senior Manager will oversee the Quality Management of service delivery, enabled by open and transparent communication and collaboration with various stakeholders, organizations and agencies. The incumbent will need to lead program and policy changes and implement change management practices to ensure full adoption in the areas of family life related issues, not-for-profit governance, community-based social programs. The Senior Manager will manage and control MVFSP operations to ensure budgeted cost and other financial objectives are met.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Business Administration, Community Development or a related field.
AND
Several years of experience in the non-profit and/or family resources programs.

In the development and implementation of community programs
In planning and facilitating presentations and workshops
In developing, interpreting, implementing and applying policies, procedures, and relevant legislation/regulations
In budget administration
In project management
In personnel administration
In business planning
In the not-for-profit sector, an asset

OTHER INFORMATIONThis is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
