THE ROLECFMWS is looking for a strategic and experienced IS leader to support the Strategy and Planning function within the Information Services Division. The Senior Manager, IS Strategy & Planning supports the development and operationalization of the IS divisional strategy and plan, advises senior leadership on planning and performance activities and priorities, and acts as an enterprise liaison to ensure divisional initiatives align with organizational priorities. This role supports divisional planning, performance management, and budget management activities through analysis, coordination, monitoring, and reporting, enabling informed decision‑making and effective oversight. Working collaboratively with colleagues within the IS Division and across the organization, the Senior Manager consults on plans and initiatives to promote integration, consistency, and effective execution. Highly organized, the successful candidate can quickly adapt to change and seamlessly transition from one initiative to another without losing momentum, while maintaining focus on specific goals, objectives, and detailed work. They build strong working relationships with colleagues and peers inside and outside of the IS Division, communicate clearly, enjoy collaboration, and love being a part of the team.QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Information Systems or related field AND several years of experience in Information Services project management, strategy, business planning or a related field

In drafting, editing, and interpreting policies and procedures

OTHER INFORMATION

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.

This position is a two-year term.
