THE ROLEThe Marketing Communications Administrator assists with the administration, implementation and development of the corporate services program (Marketing, sponsorship and donations, etc.) at the Base/Wing/Unit (B/W/U) level. They monitor the workflow of corporate services business processes including marketing, sponsorship and donations. They prepare and administer marketing, communication and advertising materials, campaigns, and initiatives. They develop and maintain databases, worksheets, or promotional material, update and track digital and advertising content, compile data and prepare reports. They ensure corporate services accounts receivable and payable documents such as invoices, cheque requisitions, transfer payments, revenues and deposits, are prepared, processed and monitored. The Marketing Communications Administrator also attends and assists in the planning and execution of events and responds to general enquiries from customers.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND several years of experience in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Valid Driver’s License (ON)
Experience
In drafting and preparing marketing, communication and advertising campaigns
In website and social media content creation
In image editing and graphic creation
In applying policies, procedures, and regulations
