THE ROLE

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will coordinate the delivery of human resources functions at your location, including recruitment, payroll, pension and benefits, job evaluation, recognition and health and safety. You will coordinate recruitment functions including posting job opportunities, managing resumes and coordinating selection boards. You will advise and solicit input from the business on interpretation problems and suggested improvements to policies and collective agreements and may participate in collective bargaining.

The Human Resources Coordinator will also prepare correspondence, ensure proper file management and maintain and ensure integrity of human resources related data. You will coordinate front-end payroll services, ensure timely resolution of service enquiries and provide information and advice to the business.

This is a hands-on role, working as a team to best support the business with its human resources needs. If you are passionate about all aspects of human resources, understand the value of people, and are detailed oriented and organized, this is the opportunity for you.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field

Experience

In planning, organizing, and delivering human resources services

In providing human resources related advice to managers

In applying and interpreting human resources policies, procedures and legislation

In personnel administration

In planning and conducting presentations

Competencies, Skills and Abilities

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

Bilingual Essential ( French & English)

Reading: Advanced

Writing: Functional

Oral: Advanced

OTHER INFORMATION

This position has an assigned location and may allow flexible work options such as remote or hybrid work but the employee must be able to report to the assigned work location at their own cost if required.
